Works In Progress
In Fall 2023, I'll be on special assigned leave. I'm in the very early stages of a project on graduate assistant labor where I look at GA contracts, GA expectations, and the rising tension between universities and graduate student employees.
I'm also currently working on an article with Will Chesher based on a study of GAs and their mentors. We look at ways that mentoring can unintentionally do harm to new graduate students and how to move away from hierarchical mentoring practices.
In addition, I've written recently about my experiences conferencing in virtual environment as a part of the documentarian role with CCCCs. I'm also working on some shorter assessment pieces designed for a broader audience than my book.
